1) How does the camera work?
CameSecura connects to your home WiFi and pairs with the Linklemo phone app, allowing you to view live video, receive motion alerts, and replay recordings.
2) Is it wireless?
CameSecura is wireless for video and control (WiFi connection to your phone), but it is USB powered, so it needs power via USB. You can use a wall adapter or a power bank.
3) Does it need WiFi to work?
For remote live viewing and notifications, CameSecura needs WiFi. For recording to a microSD card, CameSecura can still record locally when powered, depending on your recording settings.
4) Does it work with home WiFi?
Yes, it is compatible with most standard home WiFi networks.
5) What app does it use?
CameSecura uses the Linklemo app on iOS and Android.
6) Does it send motion notifications?
Yes. CameSecura has motion detection and can send app notifications when motion is detected. You can also enable motion-triggered recording on CameSecura.
7) Does it have night vision?
Yes. CameSecura includes infrared night vision with up to about 5 meters of visibility. Infrared can be turned on or off in the app.
8) How does recording and storage work?
CameSecura supports microSD/TF cards from 8GB to 128GB (not included). It also supports loop recording, so CameSecura can overwrite old footage when storage is full.
9) Can I watch recordings on my phone?
Yes. You can play back CameSecura recordings in the app anytime, as long as recordings are saved (microSD/TF card inserted and recording enabled).
10) Does it have audio?
Yes. CameSecura has a built-in microphone, so you can capture audio along with video.
